Its a new Field House, next to the new middle school, Jerry Pistone is STILL the park manager, but its on the corner of Lawndale and Lealand and the "park" is a small playground. Sad, but at least we have the pics and the memories of what it use to be. Thanks for reading my blog!!!Bev Benyaminhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16923742526467322327noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-748625758690001150.post-35338187386779590512011-06-15T23:02:59.467-05:002011-06-15T23:02:59.467-05:00Hi Bev .. I lived on Avers and Wilson during the late 70's to the mid 80's.. It was nice to finally see pictures of Jensen Park before it was completely renovated.. even the church across the park was torn down for a parking lot ... it brings back a lot of memories... the smell of the water in the fountain park .. the field house ..etc thank you so much for sharing the pictures ... the early 80's were the best
-JohnAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-748625758690001150.post-74416202422502594542011-04-28T00:03:28.007-05:002011-04-28T00:03:28.007-05:00Bev, I really loved this story. You just have to stand up to people and if they are really your friends, they will respect your choices. Keep writing.
Looking forward to more from you.
Love ya, TerriAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
